Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planning and Entitlements Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, land use regulations, and entitlement processes. As a Planning and Entitlements Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the entitlement process for our development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Entitlement Management: Lead the entitlement process for development projects, including coordinating with internal teams, external consultants, and government agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
• Land Use Planning: Conduct research and analysis of zoning regulations, land use policies, and environmental regulations to assess project feasibility and compliance requirements.
• Community Engagement: Engage with community stakeholders, neighborhood groups, and elected officials to gather input, address concerns, and build support for development projects.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive entitlement strategies that align with project goals and objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations throughout the entitlement process, including environmental review requirements, permit conditions, and mitigation measures.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the entitlement process and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets and schedules for entitlement activities, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in urban planning, architecture, real estate development, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in land use planning, entitlements, or related fields, with a proven track record of successfully managing entitlement processes for development projects.
• Strong understanding of zoning regulations, land use policies, and environmental laws.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 2 years of experience with residential land planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
