Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to internal employees and external vendors, as well as ensuring smooth IT operations and resolving technical issues promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Migrate current employee computers from Microsoft 10 to Microsoft 11
- Updating current computers, or building new computers out and shipping them
- Provide technical support to end-users on various IT issues and incidents
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure efficient operation of systems
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical support or a help desk role
- Proficiency in computer networking, Linux, firewall management, Jira, and Mac OS
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and LAN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
