Environmental Assistant General Team:

Clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings in assigned work area following established policies and procedures.

Environmental Assistant Grounds Team will clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas following established policies and procedures.

Environmental Assistant Floor/Special Project Team:

The Environmental Assistant Floor/Special Project Team employee will clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas following established policies and procedures.
Distribution/Linen Tech:

The Dist/Linen Technician will be responsible to distribute and retrieve patient supplies, materials, instruments and equipment for nursing units according to prescribed procedures, techniques and universal precautions. Will maintain P AR levels of inventory items on patient units. Will complete computerized inventory records of supplies and materials.
Linen Technician:

The Linen Technician will be responsible to distribute and retrieve patient linen, and materials for nursing units according to prescribed procedures, techniques and universal precautions. Will maintain P AR levels of inventory linen on patient units. Complete computerized inventory records of linen and materials.
Qualifications:
Environmental Assistant General Team:

Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Minimum Work Experience:

Cleaning/housekeeping experience (Preferred)
Required Skills/Knowledge
Requires ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Must have excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate positively with patients, families, and staff.
Ability to operate, vacuums, buffers, shampooers, auto scrubbers, scrubbers, burnishers, carpet extractors and shampoo machines, and other related cleaning equipment.
Ability to properly utilize internal communication devices such as beepers, cell phones, walkie-talkies when assigned.
Must have excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate positively with patients, families and staff.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds routinely and 60 pounds occasionally; must be able to bend from waist and at knees; must be able to reach with arms over head; must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
Environmental Assistant Grounds Team:
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
1 year Cleaning/housekeeping experience (Preferred)
Required Skills/Knowledge
Requires ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Must be able to tolerate temperature extremes and adverse outside weather conditions.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds routinely and 100 pounds occasionally; must be able to push/pull 200 pounds, must be able to bend from waist and at knees; must be able to reach with arms over head; must be able to stand for prolonged periods.

2 years Clearing/housekeeping experience (Preferred)
2 years Floor care/special project experience (Preferred)
