Summary

The role of the Extrusion Manager is to oversee the 3 shift operations of the Extrusion Supervisors, Technicians, Operators, Coordinators and Team Leads ensuring a safe, healthy, productive, forward thinking work-environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Train/oversee Supervisors/Team Leads on all shifts
• Coaching and corrective actions
• Work orders, labels, near miss reports, reverifications
• Quality assistance
• Steer department towards company goals
• Interdepartmental collaboration

Required Skills/Experience

• 5 years in manufacturing
• Basic computer skills/Microsoft Office skills
• Proven Conflict Resolution skills
• Proven Leadership skills
• Proven Communication & Interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand business at all levels

Physical and Mental Demands

• Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English
• Ability to accept criticism
• Ability to remain neutral in high stress environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Bending, twisting, squatting

Environment

Office and production floor setting, controlled temperature and quiet workspaces. Factory setting with exposure to uncontrolled temperatures, dusty environment and loud equipment.
