Powder Coater / Line Operator

Powder Coat Line Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, masking and unmasking parts and components on the powder coating line. In this role, you are expected to set up and operate manual coating equipment used for painting various components and manually process them through from coating, drying to unloading.

Fulcrum Technologies, Inc., is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of custom machine bases for vibration sensitive production tools used in the semiconductor fabrication process. We are seeking a Powder Coater / Line Operator to join our production team.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Load and unload parts to the travel racks using a gantry lift when required.
• Mask and unmask parts according to the requirements.
• Spray off debris from the parts after the sand blast operation.
• Inspect parts for defects.
• Load parts on pallets for shipping when needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedure and regulations
• Applying a wide range of powder coatings per manufacturers requirements on a variety of components.
• Ensure all work produced in the environmentally controlled paint room meets customer's quality expectations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proficient with hand tools and handheld power tools.
• Comfortable using both the metric and imperial measuring system.
• Accurately use and read measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Quality work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Work as a team player to produce quality products and maintain a positive environment.
• Always maintain safety procedures to prevent injury to yourself and other employees.
• Routinely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• Wear required PPE when required during any coating or blasting activities.
