Job Title: Comfort Advisor

Reports To: Sales Manager

Department: HVAC Sales

Basic Function: The basic function of the Comfort Advisor is to assist the customer in providing effective solutions their home comfort.

Essential Duties:

• Meet or exceed sales budget
• Field customer calls 
• Maintain schedule set by the CSR and Inside Sales teams
• Fill out and complete forms/paperwork as required by company
• Treat customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
• Stay abreast of all financing options & communicate those to customers
• Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
• Communicate relevant information to install manager and crews
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
• Answer phones when needed
• Other tasks as requested by GM and Owner/CEO

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to educate customers
• Ability to successfully manage customer relationships
• Ability to accurately enter information in the computer
• Ability to represent Fulkerson Plumbing & AC in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff, and the general public
• Work well under pressure
• Must have valid drivers’ license and a good driving record
• Ability to handle difficult customer/installer/technician issues
• Adaptability – the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
• Good communicator – works well with different personality types

Working Conditions: This position works in both the office and the field. Must occasionally travel to meet techs, customers or vendors. Adherence to safety policy and driving policy is vital. The office environment is controlled and maintained in a safe manner.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds

Mental Requirements: Self motivated and able to handle rapidly changing priorities and several tasks simultaneously. Must be able to respond to difficult situations with customers and co-workers with high level of professionalism. Must be able to communicate effectively with vendors and co-workers. Must be able to follow safety guidelines at all times. Must have ability to manage and lead effectively

Internal Relationships: Communicates and interacts with employees on all levels in the office. Sets an example for employees in the company.

External Relationships: The title will have a high level of contact with customers, technicians, and vendors, and will be required to maintain professional communication and appearance at all times during work hours
