Full Circle Communities, Inc. is looking for a part-time Maintenance Technician I to ensure the efficient operations, safety, and maintenance of 15th Street Apartments in Dubuque, Iowa.
This position is part of a “management team”, which will require rotation between all properties in the region, including: Liberty Lake, 15th Street, Arbor at Lindale Trail, Creekview, and Pearl Street Commons.
Guided by our core values, the Maintenance Technician I will follow directives given by the Community and/or General Manager to keep the communities beautiful and well-maintained in order to realize our mission to deliver affordable housing and supportive services to our residents and the surrounding communities.
The successful candidate will conduct all business in accordance with Full Circle policies and procedures as well as state and Federal Laws, to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. We will rely on you to be a key member of the maintenance team to anticipate, identify, and correct all problems throughout the property.
To thrive in this role you must use your previous experience in a high volume maintenance position to cultivate exceptional resident satisfaction by being prompt, courteous, and efficient. Servicing our community involves a few key functions, including, but not limited to, the completion of apartment turns, general plumbing, electrical, and maintenance work, and daily huddles to keep work moving and the team on track.
You will actively participate in unit inspections, custodial work, completing service requests, handle grounds care, and assist in snow removal when required. A high level of competency and communication with all staff, residents and professional associates is a must.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Frequent lifting lift and/or moving items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This position is PART-TIME; up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
The Company offers a competitive hourly range of $15.00 - $16.00 based on experience.
