Internship Details
Time Commitment: Minimum 16 hours/week, flexible in-person/remote working environment, starting ASAP.
Term:
The internship aligns with the academic year for both the semester and quarter system students. Internships typically range from 3-9 months with the opportunity to extend into the summer.
Stipend: $18-22/hour depending on experience

Position SummaryThe Resident Services Intern supports the Senior Manager of Service Programs in all aspects of Full Circle’s (FCC) contracted services across the portfolio. They ensure that services align with FCC’s mission and meet residents’ needs and goals. When appropriate, they may also support real estate development (RED) and property management (PM) teams from project conception to operations as it relates to on-site service provision. General
Supports the data collection, analysis, evaluation, and reporting of FCC’s existing service programs. This may include the implementation and analysis of resident surveys and focus groups.
Continually identifies and implements opportunities for FCC to leverage and efficiently use its service funds. The intern may research potential grants, support grant applications, and find additional in-kind donations for properties.
Supports the alignment of FCC’s mission with residents’ needs and goals; evaluates tenant utilization of services, including gaps, and provides recommendations for improvement.
Interdepartmental
Collaborates with PM to provide site staff training on integrated permanent supportive housing and promote coordination between management and supportive services.
Collaborates with PM on the creation, review, and/or implementation of on-site policies and procedures that promote self-determination and housing stability
Assist RED with grant compliance as it pertains to service delivery.
Provide departments with timely and relevant service information to inform their grant applications, meetings, materials, etc.
Qualifications
Educational and/or work experience in social work, counseling, public policy, public health, or related fields is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with permanent supportive housing or affordable housing (e.g., via lived experience and/or in a professional setting) is preferred.
Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research skills is a plus, but not required.
Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate information across a wide range of audiences, from FCC’s Board of Directors to residents.
Ability to thrive in diverse settings, whether in data entry and analysis or engaging with the community.
An inquisitive mind, strong attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability and follow-through, and an ability to bring flexibility and energy to their activities.
Ability to work in and play various roles in a team environment—at times serving as a leader, facilitator, or support.
