ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Always provides excellent internal and external guest service.
2. Establishes daily staff priorities and assigns production and prep tasks to staff to execute.
3. Ensures all menu items are prepared following recipes and yield guidelines.
4. Conducts frequent walk-throughs of each kitchen area and direct respective personnel to correct any deficiencies.
5. Assists with menu planning and recipe creation.
6. Assists with the planning, preparation and execution of special events.
7. Oversees and direct the training of new hires in specified phases of the kitchen operation.
8. Assists with personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, mentoring and promoting.
9. Assists with the maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
10. Ensures an appropriate inventory of ingredients for multiple ongoing events to maximize efficiency and minimize cost and waste. This includes ordering ingredients and maintaining proper storage and rotation of food and beverage items.
11. Ensures all employees wear and maintain all uniforms properly, including nametags.
12. Assists with the programming of menus into the Point-of Sale system.
13. Maintains and enforces proper sanitation policies, maintains a clean and safe work environment and performs all duties in compliance with safety procedures which includes use of safety equipment, identifying unsafe practices or conditions and informing your supervisor or the Safety Committee of any potential hazards or unsafe conditions.
14. Ensures compliance with established security policies and procedures.
15. Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

$55,000k annually to commensurate with experience.
