Our humble beginnings as a small agency have been transformed into a comprehensive support provider with not one but two offices located in Hilo and Kona and an Adult Day Health Learning Center in Kona. What You'll Bring:

We aspire to find individuals who have the necessary skills to provide support and care to people with disabilities. Our desire is to find someone who is driven by their passion and is committed to providing exceptional assistance to those we serve. While prior experience in the relevant field is a plus, it is not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED. If you don't have either of these qualifications, our supervisors can evaluate your skills and certify that you can perform key job functions such as documentation and reading comprehension.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Active CPR and First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, an active auto insurance policy, and a clean driving record.
  • Proof of tuberculosis clearance within the past year (or clearance prior to starting). Full Life will assist you with obtaining your clearance.
  • No previous work experience is necessary; we will train and develop the right person!
  • As a Caregiver, you will typically be working in the participant's home and out in the community. The position will require sitting, using your hands, talking, hearing, and doing repetitive motions. You may occasionally need to lift up to 20 lbs. or more, and there may be some bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, standing, reaching, walking, driving, traveling, kneeling, and crouching involved, depending on the participant's needs.

What We Offer:

At Full Life, you can expect to benefit from a wide range of offerings as a part of our team. The full-time Kona position starts at $18.50 per hour, while full-time Hilo begins at $17.50 per hour. For part-time positions, the starting rate is $16.00 per hour. Additionally, some positions with the most support are compensated at a starting rate of $19.50 per hour. We also offer incentives for completing and maintaining annual training requirements, which demonstrates our commitment to supporting our team's growth and success.
