We are seeking an immediate hire for a Direct Support Professional to join our team! I am looking for a person to assist a high-functioning female consumer with autism who lives on her own. Responsibilities include assistance with daily living tasks such as cooking, housekeeping, shopping, self-care, and taking her to appointments as needed. The schedule is 3 days per week (M-F) 10:00 am - 1:00 pm for 10 hours per week (There is some flexibility in creating the schedule).

Further Responsibilities:

• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
• Collaborate with clients and families for the best care opportunities
• Document daily activities and reporting

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience with adults with disabilities
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must hold a Spectrum 2.0 certificate (free online training of this course will be provided by the agency and must be completed before the start date)

*Additional orientation and ongoing training will be required throughout the year and provided by the agency.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
