High School Teacher

Catapult Learning is looking for a full time certified NJ High School teacher to positively impact a child’s education at Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy High School in Hamilton, NJ.

The teacher will be responsible for providing in reading and math in a small group environment. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday from 8am-2pm .

Teachers must hold a NJ CE certification at minimum How you’ll be there for students :

Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor.

  • Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and / or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
  • Develops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
  • Willing to teach ESL to students, if needed.
  • Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classroom or to mobile / trailer classroom.
  • Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by Company, local, state, and / or federal agencies.
  • Attends and documents conferences / meetings / trainings with Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and / or federal agencies.
  • Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Active NJ Certification. CE minimum
  • Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.
