Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students who require additional support
- Assist with behavior management strategies and interventions
- Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as toileting, feeding, and personal care for students with special needs
- Support the teacher in maintaining a structured and organized classroom environment
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents
- Patience and empathy when working with students with special needs
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.37 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
