JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Quotation Specialist is responsible for responding to requests from customers and sales personnel regarding the application and operation of various lighting and gear projects. This role involves providing accurate verbal and written quotations, preparing necessary business correspondence, and assisting with the planning and presentation of training programs. The specialist will also review plans and specifications to offer alternative solutions, coordinate with external companies for pricing special items, and develop comprehensive electrical distribution proposals. This job is on site, at our Canton location. The hours are 8-5pm Monday – Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to customer and sales personnel inquiries about lighting and gear projects.
• Assist in planning and presenting training programs and professional growth opportunities related to project planning, installation, and operation.
• Provide verbal and written quotations or estimates for standard, complex, or non-standard merchandise, including prices, terms, and delivery.
• Coordinate with sales personnel to promptly resolve customer order problems and complaints.
• Prepare necessary correspondence and reports for business transactions.
• Review plans and specifications to suggest alternate solutions to customers.
• Contact external companies to obtain pricing for special items and develop complete electrical distribution proposals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience (2-4 years).
• Experience in Electrical Distribution and/or manufacturing preferred.
• Expertise in reading and comprehending electrical plans and specifications.
• Proven experience managing gear/lighting projects and/or electrical distribution and control projects.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage and balance multiple projects concurrently.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills. Customer First!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,888.00 - $68,828.00 per year
