Furniture Enterprises of Alaska, Inc. is seeking applicants for our Warehouse/Distribution/Delivery Team

Our warehouse is responsible for the receiving, storage and delivery of furniture and mattresses for our 11 local retail stores.

The ability to perform manual tasks, work as a team, and adhere to established processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality is a must.

Details:

• $21.00 Per Hour to Start
• Full Time (Days) Sunday - Thursday
• Friday & Saturday off
• PTO (104 Hours)

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Transferring merchandise shipped to the Anchorage Distribution Center.
• Properly store merchandise in warehouse locations using order pickers or other devices.
• Assist with inbound or outbound activities as required by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards.
• Operating Company Equipment in a safe and courteous manner.
• Communicating with supervisors, and other team members in a professional manner.
• Effectively following company policies and procedures and continually improving efficiencies.
• Keeping work area clean & safe.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check and drug & alcohol test prior to starting employment.
• Lift between 70-100 lbs. consecutively.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment.
