JOB DESCRIPTION:
Full-time Senior Project Manager at Furr, Wegman & Banks Architects, P.A., with flexibility to work from offices in Lakeland and Wesley Chapel, FL. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations of architectural projects, coordinating team members, managing project timelines/budgets, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple $2-5 million dollar commercial/educational/municipal project types simultaneously.
- Coordinate with consulting engineers across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with staff on complex details and construction techniques.
- Supervise/mentor internal design team members.
- Meet with clients, document needs, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
- Perform Construction Administration services including shop drawings and field observations.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal building codes for compliance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 5-10 years of experience in architectural or construction industry.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
- Professional experience in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
