The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will handle the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Completes the month-end close process by recording journal entries, performing G/L account reconciliations, calculating intercompany profit eliminations and consolidating multiple entity results.
- Develops and explains product-line profitability and costing analyses.
- Collaborates across the business, driving accountability for budget and KPIs.
- Assists with year-end audit and tax preparation.
Qualifications
- 3 years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Solid Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, SUMIF, filter/sort, data dumps).
- ERP implementation experience preferred.
- Strong cost accounting background.
