We are looking for a Light Duty Technician to join our team! The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and a desire to provide superb customer service.
Primary Accountabilities
The day-to-day duties of this role include:

• Completing pre-delivery inspection on new cars
• Performing multi-point inspection
• Recommending services based on findings from a thorough inspection
• Tire rotation and replacement
  • Wheel balancing
  • Wheel bearing repack
• Replacement of shocks, struts, and strut springs
• Replacement of hood and deck struts
• Replacement of fuel filters
• Replacement of all coolant hoses and thermostats
• Replacement of batteries, battery cables, including situations where the vehicle must be reprogrammed following battery replacement
• Adjustment or replacement of all external belts and tensioners
• Replacement of valve cover gaskets
• Recalls
• Replacement of ignition wires
• Fuel system cleaning
• Replacement of brake pads, shoes, calipers
  • Replacement or resurfacing of rotors and drums
• Cabin air filters
• Transmission filter service
• Air conditioning maintenance inspections
• Spark plugs and coil packs
• Emission service

Light Duty Technician Qualifications

• 2 years of Light Duty Technician experience
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE certification preferred
• B level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair
• Dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer competencies
• Excellent customer service skills, positive, friendly attitude, with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Ability to collaborate with other team members effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
