We are seeking a Driller for a prominent Environmental, Civil, and Geotechnical Engineering firm based in Wilmington, NC

The responsibilities for this position include :

• Operating and maintaining drilling equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
• Conducting drilling activities at various job sites.
• Collecting soil and rock samples.
• Recording and reporting daily drilling data.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintaining drilling equipment in good working condition and adhering to safety protocols.

The qualifications required for the position are as follows :

• At least 2 years of experience in geotechnical drilling.
• Familiarity with operating ATV, trailer, and track-mounted drill rigs.
• Preference for candidates holding an NC Level A Drilling License.
• Experience in SPT drilling using hollow stem and mud rotary drilling techniques.
• Familiarity with rock coring techniques and core sample collection.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Capability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Class A CDL required (air brake endorsement a plus).
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER training desired but not necessary.
• Ability to obtain Military Base Access.
