A key to our company and employees’ success is our team of Information Technology professionals who provide excellent problem-solving and technical support to keep our technology infrastructure running smoothly. We are currently seeking a Help Desk Technician to join this team!
As a Help Desk Technician, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Answering Help Desk calls as needed.
- Responding to Help Desk tickets submitted via email, phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner
- Providing initial documentation in the Help Desk system, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware and/or software issues
- Escalating Help Desk tickets as needed to other members of the IT team
- Preparing equipment for new employees and actively participate in onboarding program to educate new employees about Fuss & O’Neill’s IT programs and policies
- A High School degree or equivalent. Continuing education in information technology or a related field is a plus
- Typically requires at least 2 years of relevant experience providing hands on technical support to end users'
- A certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to travel to other regional offices within New England as needed
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment while maintaining ownership of individual responsibilities
- Prior knowledge working with Microsoft office 365 is a plus
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
