Job Description:

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides medical care, treatments, and follow-ups in an outpatient vein and vascular clinic. Working under a physician, they perform exams, order and interpret tests, and recommend further procedures if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care from initial contact to follow-up.
• Record examination findings and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Submit patient care plans for review.
• Prescribe medications and treatments like physical and lymphedema therapy.
• Refer patients to other specialists when necessary.
• Perform vein-related procedures.
• Participate in marketing and community outreach activities.
• Maintain relationships with referring physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience as an NP or PA in family practice or internal medicine.
• Master's degree and accredited NP or PA program graduate.
• Licensed in Colorado with no infractions.
• Prescriptive Authority in Colorado.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with vein and vascular care preferred.
• Ability to travel 5-10% for coverage.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical billing, compliance, and electronic medical records.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally carry boxes upstairs.
• Pass a mandatory drug test.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for events.
