Pay Scale: The Parts Counter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00 and $35.00. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

Interpret the parts catalog.
Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, offer specials, and ensures customer satisfaction.
Pull purchases from stock. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submits order.
Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
Verify will call and back order files weekly and return to vendors, back to stock. Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.
Order parts not in stock. Notify the customer that ordered parts have been received.
Be friendly, professional, and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person.
Provide the same high level of service to the other dealership departments as is given to other customers.
Keep your work counter area clean and uncluttered and keep current on new products and product updates.
Ability to work well with the public and ability to multitask.
Participate in all training programs that are made available.
Keep a professional personal appearance and have a good attitude
