- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Massachusetts State Certification in PreSchool Special Education.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs.
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education laws.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Location: Medway, MA
- Duration: Full-time
- Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
- Working Hours: 35-40 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday
- Student Age Group: Pre-k
- Case Load: 10-15 kids
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for preschool students with special needs.
- Provide differentiated and developmentally appropriate instruction to meet the diverse needs of preschool students with disabilities.
- Work collaboratively with special education staff, general education staff, therapists, and support staff.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies.
- Maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians.
- Implement positive behavior support strategies and collaborate with the behavioral support team to address challenging behaviors.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes the participation and engagement of all students.
- Stay current with best practices in special education and attend relevant professional development opportunities.
