We need a Mechanical Design Engineer for our downtown Baltimore MD office.
Targeting Mechanical Engineer 2 to 7 years of experience designing HVAC systems
- CAD Experience is a must
- Revit experience is a plus
- MEP design experience preferred
HVAC systems design of a given project based on Scope of Work and/or client's RFP.
Providing engineering design, evaluation and planning of mechanical systems for health care, science and technology, education and commercial projects.
Developing reports/studies.
Writing/editing project specifications.
Providing construction administration services.
Direct or coordinate mechanical installation, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
Perform QA/QC of design work.
Resolve customer concerns, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures.
Plan or implement research methodology or procedures to apply principles of mechanical theory to engineering projects.
The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:
2 years of design experience.
Excellent work ethic and attitude.
Good communication and time management skills.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
LEED certification/experience a plus.
Experience with commercial and industrial experience is preferred.
Familiarity with codes, standards and design guidelines.
