Program Specialist, Workplace and Economic Justice Team
Location: Washington D.C.
Full-Time, Non-Exempt Grant-Funded position
Hybrid schedule: Minimum 2 days per week onsite
Up to 10% traveling required
Futures Without Violence (FUTURES) is a national non-profit social change organization that works to end gender-based violence against children, youth, and adults around the world. We’re a team of educators, strategists, fundraisers, trainers and grassroots organizers who develop programs that can change social norms, advance policy, and mobilize people to prevent violence against women and children.
DEPARTMENT AND POSITION
The Program Specialist will provide programmatic support for the Workplaces Respond to Domestic and Sexual Violence project (Workplaces Respond), which is part of the Workplace and Economic Justice Team and FUTURES. Workplaces Respond is the nation’s only resource center solely dedicated to addressing the impacts of domestic violence, sexual harassment and assault, and stalking on workers and the workplace. Workplaces Respond helps employers, unions, worker centers and other labor organizations, employees, and other workplace stakeholders create and implement the policies and practices necessary to promote safer and more supportive workplaces in which survivors, and all workers, can thrive. The Program Specialist will assist the team with the development of online and printed resources and tools, research promising practices, and support the implementation of training and technical assistance.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The pay rate is $75,000/annually. This salary is based on a standardized compensation structure that is transparent across the organization. Please note that the salary is non-negotiable and like all positions at FUTURES, eligible for step increases as part of our commitment to thriving wages for all staff.
