NICU or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – NY, Bronx preferred.

We are looking for someone to join our client's team with expertise in maternal/infant care. The right candidate will be able to plan, implement and evaluate mothers and babies from preconception to 12 months of age. They will provide mothers and their families with education that aligns with age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

This candidate will work with the team to maintain high standards through education and virtual care. You will not be required to diagnose, prescribe, or treat patients. The NICU Nurse Practitioner role includes education and virtual consultation. The NICU Nurse Practitioner is involved in indirect practice activities with the goal of improving the quality of care across the continuum of care.

This position is fully remote based in the United States. Schedules are flexible, but we are seeking a minimum of 20 hours/week with weekend and evening availability. Weekdays evening, weekends Sat/Sunday and holiday coverage required. 

Providers are paid per visit. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of (5) years of experience in NICU or infant care with high-risk babies 
• NY License is a must with NPI number. 
• Licenses are up to date. 
• Must be highly experienced with video calls.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Master's Degree/NP preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Knowledgeable of health technologies and comfort with computers and video modalities
• Maintains current knowledge base with national best practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining membership in National Professional Organizations is preferred.
