Job title: Manufacturing Technician
Job location: Syracuse, NY
Travel: Yes, but minimal (maybe once a year)
Work week: Monday through Friday, on-site work setting
Compensation: $45,000 to $60,000 (compensation is commensurate with your
experience)

Required Experience:
Experience following documented processes
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Experience evaluating, diagnosing, and solving electronics problems
Experience with through hole and SMT soldering
PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.), Linux experience a plus
Experience working in a team environment to achieve company goals
Able and Willing to work overtime, as needed
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Preferred Experience:
Experience with IP networking a plus but not required
Experience with virtual machines a plus but not required
Job Description:
Manufacturing Electronics Technicians are responsible for assembly, test,
troubleshooting and repair of Datacom Systems products. Technicians will work
from written and verbal instructions, schematics and plans. They will interpret and
apply knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and

repair of products.
Technician will work with engineering to transition newly released products to
manufacturing. This will include developing and documenting the processes and
procedures require.
Technician will work with other departments to recommend modifications to
existing or future engineering or manufacturing designs as necessary to improve
upon the products, processes or procedures.
Technician will assist the shipping and receiving department as necessary.
Technician will seek continual improvement in all areas of the product
manufacturing process.
