Futurus is an Atlanta-based immersive technology production company, specializing in emerging technology consulting, road mapping, virtual reality (VR) simulations, augmented reality (AR) development, and interactive event experiences. Futurus also provides game development services in partnership with our game studio, Amebous Labs.

We work with organizations to produce long-term scalable plans and create immersive experiences for training, marketing, storytelling, and visualization use cases. In addition to development services, the team provides consulting and technology discovery for companies with an interest in applying innovative technology.

Futurus is seeking a Client Relationship Manager. The ideal candidate has the ability to build relationships and communicate with key internal and external stakeholders. This person will be responsible for identifying and educating prospective customers and supporting existing clients by providing them with information related to our products and services.

Essential Functions:

• Business development
• Write proposals and client contracts
• Negotiate contracts
• Give presentations to clients about products or services
• Present VR/AR project plan, outline the approach and act as the liaison between the client and Futurus, take feedback from the client and refine services to meet the client’s needs
• Meet with clients to understand their needs in order to propose an appropriate solution to reach their goals
• Ensure that the terms of a contract are adhered to by both your employer and clients
• Act as a point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
• Research industry trends and provide advice to colleagues about client strategy or new sales opportunities
• Identify and approach potential new companies or individuals to engage as clients
• Ensure existing clients are satisfied through after-sales care, as well as gaining and using feedback
• Maintain records in customer relationship management software
• Some travel required

Qualifications:

• Experience in a client-facing role
• Interest and basic understanding of virtual and augmented reality technologies
• Knowledge of the immersive technology production process
• The ability to research and keep on top of developments in the industry
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to network and build relationships
• Communicate confidently with colleagues and clients
• A level of creativity when it comes to thinking of new sales opportunities
