**This position is fully onsite, 5 days a week** Selected candidate will require passing of NERC CIP Personnel Risk Assessment background check.
Job Description - Seeking a highly motivated candidate who demonstrates commitment to customer service and possesses strong technical skills and proficiency working with:
Windows Server/desktop operating systems, users administration, file system, software, and services
Understanding of server and various storage RAID configuration
Active Directory management, including backup and recovery of domain and GPO setup
Fundamental networking concepts and troubleshooting such as DHCP, DNS, Routing, Firewall
Fundamental understanding of security principles, ACL, Encryption
Scripting: PowerShell, bash, ksh or perl for automating routine tasks
Experienced with monitoring system health and performance, able to provide statistics to identify bottlenecks and lead optimization efforts
Disaster recovery planning and ability to perform backup and restore for systems, applications and data
Patch and firmware installation and management
Strong customer service mindset, providing plus-1 end user support experience
The ideal candidate is well organized, detail-oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines with safety mind set. This individual must also exercise good judgment and render sound business decisions. The applicant should possess strong oral and written communication skills and able to produce documentation on solutions and system design. Bachelor s degree (preferably in Information Technology) with a minimum of 8 years experience in IT Support. The successful candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of various computing platforms from servers, networks, storage including scripting experience for automation. Must have the ability to lift/transport server equipment when needed. Must be able to provide off-hour, on-call support for workstation, server and other system related issues that requires travel to various supported sites. Must be willing and able to work overtime and be flexible with work hours to respond to emergencies or scheduled work that must be done either prior to or after normal business hours. Must have the means and be able to travel to various Company locations. Must have a valid driver s license.
