Job Summary

As a Maintenance Specialist at Freeport site, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational reliability and efficiency of the 500 block OxySyngas / HDO NEOL units.

Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating and overseeing deficiency management repairs, supporting fixed equipment planning, and facilitating outage management.

Additionally, you will provide essential field-level support for maintenance activities, assist in small-scale projects, and contribute to Turnaround (TAR) and Long-Term Duration (LTDT) activities.

Job Description

• Coordinate and oversee deficiency management repairs within the 500 block OxySyngas / HDO NEOL units.
• Support fixed equipment planning and gather quotes for P1 / P2 maintenance activities.
• Serve as outage lead, ensuring effective planning and execution of maintenance shutdowns.
• Provide field level support for maintenance technicians during routine and unplanned maintenance events.
• Support small-scale projects related to maintenance improvements and efficiency enhancements.
• Contribute to TAR and LTDT activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Skills Required

• Act as backup to the CP Multi-craft Maintenance Supervisor / Gatekeeper and CI Maintenance Specialist as needed.
• Proven experience in maintenance operations within a chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning, outage management, and deficiency repairs.
• Ability to gather and analyze data for maintenance planning and cost estimation purposes.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in coordinating teams and managing projects.

Pay Rate

• $55.00 per hour
