Construction Manager - Power Plant

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction activities at a Power Plant. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Power Plant construction, with a preference for those with nuclear plant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Oversight: Ensure site safety, project progress, quality control, and compliance with site standards and expectations.
• Project Implementation: Manage field implementation for small to large projects, including new constructions and plant modifications.
• Coordination: Coordinate construction efforts with in-house teams and contracted labor/services.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and execute project plans.
• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Adherence to Standards: Ensure strict adherence to timelines and financial constraints.
• Review and Interpretation: Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Contract Management: Manage contracts and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage multiple project aspects effectively.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience in civil heavy industrial projects.
• Education: B.S. in Construction Management or related field. High School diploma or equivalent.
• Nuclear Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a nuclear plant is a plus.
