Graphic Design Assistant | G-III

Reporting to: Vice President, Graphic Design

Brand/Product Focus: Multiple

Location (On-Site): New York City, Midtown Manhattan - Fashion District

Responsibilities:

• Assist CAD designers with CAD dolls, printing, packages as well as other needs as they arise
• Aid in the development of sales tools for market appointments
• Reviews sample yardage cuttings when received from mills; organize cuttings so that they are easy to locate
• Updates color palettes in PLM
• Order supplies – paper, ink, office necessities
• Compile and maintain CAD library for easy reference and accessibility
• Conduct design and trend research during downtime as needed

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in related field
• 0-2 years’ experience in fashion product/graphic design environment
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop CS, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be adaptable and able to switch between working independently and a collaborative setting
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral

The pay range for this position is: $26.44 per hour/$55,000 per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week) - $28.85 per hour/$60,000 per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week).
