PRODUCTION ASSISTANT | DKNY Women’s Outerwear

Success Profile:

The ideal candidate will assist seamlessly with the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. They will also run quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting to: Senior Director of Production

Brand/Product Focus: DKNY Women’s Outerwear

Location (On-Site): New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District

Key Accountabilities:

Production Calendar and Maintenance: Assists in purchase order creation as well as daily maintenance. Partners with managers as well as Merchandising and Sales teams to approve, update, and send any changes to purchase orders. Communicates with overseas teams in order to stay up-to-date on deliveries and communicates any changes in deliveries to Sales. Attends SMS and production fittings in order to communicate any changes to cost, style, or delivery.

Other Responsibilities: Assists with special requests including tracking samples for Public Relations and Global Sales Channels. Administrative Tasks (pulling/analyzing reports, updating charts, PDM updates). Special projects as needed.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Strong Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field.
• 0-2 years of prior experience.
• Strong project management skills
• Detail and task oriented

The pay range for this position is: $24.04 per hour/$50k per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week) - $28.85 per hour/$60k per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week)
