Job Summary:
To ensure Customer & Suppliers requirements are met through effective management of people, systems and resources.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Customer Support:
· Manages inbound and outbound EDI, including errors and accum verification.
· DELFOR, DELJIT, APERAKS, CONTROL, & INVRPT
· Inputs manual Customer orders into QAD
· Creates and verifies customer ship schedules
· Maintains Customer Websites
· eSupplier Connect, PC Portal II, SMART, Covisint, GM Supply Power, SPOC, TOMS, Vascor, etc.
· Attains POD when Customers’ needs arise.
· Monitors and maintains Customer delivery ratings
· Ensure Customer satisfaction
· Analyze, understand and communicate Customer needs; ensure that they are reflected in production planning
· Works to create loads for shipment
· Maintains filing for Customer Orders
· Verifies receipt or non-receipt of material when there is a dispute with the Customer.
Material Scheduler:
· Release all purchased items to internal and external Suppliers
· Send weekly MRP releases to all Suppliers
· Work with Management Team for incoming and outgoing material for Suppliers.
· Maintain the correct amount of inventory suitable to efficiently support manufacturing, packaging or shipping requirements.
· Ensure engineering changes (SWONECS) are managed appropriately.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Updates and maintains daily reports from QAD and distributes as needed.
· Additional tasks as required by Management.
· Use safety processes in all work and according to AGS Health & Safety, Environmental and Housekeeping Policies.
Employment requirements:
High School Diploma, One-year experience in Materials, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office software and ERP/MRP systems; QAD experience preferred
