Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity, flexible working hours (not a fully remote role)
Looking to Start: August 2024
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 plus benefits
Openings: 1 Full-Time Role
Knowledge Requirements: DoD military systems, C4I, Surface-, Undersea-, Air-, and Mine-warfare on military programs, etc.
Years of Industry Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance

Let's talk salary.The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 and goes up to $120,000, based on what we are asking you to do, and your qualifications. Due to the classification level of the projects we support, we are not able to offer fully remote opportunities at this time. As a Defense Contractor, we are frequently working with sensitive material, and therefore, we need to ensure where you access your work is secure. You will have the opportunity to work at a military site directly with our customers (this is a good thing!). We do allow teleworking with prior approval, but supportingthe DoD, you will be required to work at a militarysite.

This exciting position will support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, with evaluating new systems and technologies for future classes of US Navy Attack Submarines. The work encompasses usingmodel based systems engineering (MBSE)to model system capabilities for the Navy’s SSN(X) program and performing analysis of alternatives and other platform level studies to inform design and acquisition decisions. Our team is responsible fortransformingour customers engineering teams to using MBSE SySML models, virtualization platforms, and digital twins operating in secure cloud environments to build, update, and maintain these important systems.
What does this mean to you?We are seeking systems engineers with a penchant for automation to help us to continue to set theindustry standardforhow MBSE is utilizedto accelerate development and acquisition. We’re looking for forward leaningtechnologists to strive to not only get the most out of Cameo System Modeler, Computer-Aided Design software, Jira, Monte Carlo Simulation tools, MatLab, DOORs, and a host of other leading-edge engineering and development tools, butintegratethem together forstreamlined and secure development. We’re looking forengineering leadersto build teams to take on tough problems and build complex, highly sophisticated systems. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, computer science, or related plus aboutthree (3) to five (5) years of industry experience(DoD military systems, C4I, Surface-, Undersea-, Air-, and Mine-warfare on military programs, etc.) Our desired candidate will be skilled inoperational analysis and use case definition, plusrequirements management and analysis.
Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an activeDoD Secret level clearance. Don’t let it stop you from applying if you don’t have a clearance. We’re willing to work with the right candidate to get security clearance.
