Responsibilities

• Execute audit or review procedures and assist in assigned projects.
• Understand the client’s business, industry, and accounting and control systems.
• Acquire and uphold a thorough understanding of our client's audit approach.
• Evaluate risks and assess the client’s internal control structure.
• Perform and document analytical procedures, substantive tests, and tests of controls to resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Review or draft financial statements and other client deliverables.
• Direct, train, supervise, and review the work of staff and experienced staff auditors.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
• Participate actively in all phases of a client engagement, from planning to issuance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills, work quality, and adherence to professional and Firm standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in public accounting.
• Holds a current and valid CPA’s license or is actively pursuing licensure by taking and passing the applicable state CPA exam.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations.
• Ability to lead a team effectively, multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States, United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board standards.
• Proactively seeks knowledge, new tasks, and responsibilities.
• Cooperative and responsive to training, supervision, and constructive feedback.
• Maintains appropriate compliance with all Firm-wide policies and procedures.
