We are seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join our client's team, a $500MM consumer goods company with 5 manufacturing sites in the US.The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all cost-related activities within the organization. Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations to optimize expenses
• Develop and maintain cost estimation models
• Monitor cash flow and perform cash flow analysis
• Manage budgeting processes and ensure adherence to financial guidelines
• Utilize financial software to track costs and expenses accurately
• Oversee payroll processes related to cost management
• Collect and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to costs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in cost management or related field
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast financial trends
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
