Job Description

Junior to mid level Home Textiles Designer needed for busy NYC home textile fashion design studio. Candidate will assist the Design Director and Senior Designers in developing home bedding, window, tabletop, and pet product.Tasks will include CAD presentations, product sample requests, sample review, and production artworks. They want someone especially strong with creating and modifying prints/patterns.

Job Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in textile/fashion design, accessory design, industrial design, or related field.
2. 2 to 8 years experience.
3. Must be proficient with Illustrator & Photoshop. Pointcarre and InDesign experience is a plus.
4. Experience with technical artworks.
5. Understanding of print and woven pattern design.
6. Knowledge of fabrics, gauge, construction.
7. Must be detail-oriented and have superior organization skills.

Full-time in office. M-F 8:30-5:30pm.
