Project Manager - Injection Molding

About the Role: Our client, a leader in the injection mold tooling industry, is seeking a skilled Project Manager. This role involves overseeing complex injection mold tooling projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead injection mold tooling projects from proposal to completion including acting as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and senior management.
• Develop injection mold tooling project proposals and provide accurate quotations based on customer injection mold tooling needs.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide timely updates to internal teams.
• Ensure smooth project transitions from quotation through R&D to completion.
• Collaborate with various departments to coordinate schedules and ensure timely delivery of injection mold tooling which meets client requirement.
• Ensure all mold tooling project deliverables remain within the quoted scope and budget.

Qualifications:

• Ideally 10 or more years experience in injection mold design or mold making.
• Proficiency with CAD and CAM software as well as with MS Excel and Office.
• Knowledge of injection mold tooling standards and practices.
• Engineering and project management experience within an injection molding or mold making setting.
• Strong customer relationship management and contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex technical projects.
