Senior Fire Protection Engineer (10 Years)

We are in search of a highly motivated Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our team of dedicated professionals! The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in providing consulting services to both external and internal clients, leveraging their expertise in fire protection engineering.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Fire Protection Engineering License obtained through examination from any state in the United States.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Fire Protection profession.
  • Willingness to travel (estimated travel percentage: 20%).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong oral presentation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-functioning team environment.
Responsibilities and Skills:
  • Conduct analysis of existing fire protection systems and design new systems, encompassing suppression systems, fire detection, alarm, and mass notification systems.
  • Perform comprehensive building and fire code analysis and interpretation.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with internal and external clients, utilizing both experience and technology to meet project expectations.
  • Demonstrate adept project management skills to oversee internal projects and fulfill external client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough research and compile documentation for internal and external distribution.
  • Offer peer reviews of colleagues' work product to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Actively participate in local and national professional organizations, such as SFPE and NFPA.
