**Duties:**
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff, including Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), to deliver superior patient care.
- Provide direct nursing care and support to patients in accordance with established facility policies and procedures.
- Oversee day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for effective patient care management.
- Demonstrate expertise in areas such as emergency medicine, family planning, tube feeding, phlebotomy, and patient care in various medical specialties like ophthalmology.
- Ensure adherence to protocols for dialysis, inhalation therapy, and other specialized treatments.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of a Level II Trauma Center by providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid RN license from the State Board of Nursing is required.
- BLS certification and current CPR certification are mandatory.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting is preferred. *- Rate of pay based on experience.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping is essential.
- Familiarity with advanced nursing procedures such as tube feeding, phlebotomy, and emergency medicine is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
