Schedule: 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule) 5 PM - 5 AM and 5 AM - 5 PM Pay: Starting at $23.86/Hour with the ability to earn up to three $1 increases within the first year of employment! Essential Duties ● Responsible for operation of equipment in a safe manner to prevent damage to equipment and to prevent injuries to yourself and others. ● Must wear all safety and health protective equipment as specified. Must follow all safety rules. ● Must be able to safely load and unload material using a fork-lift. ● Must keep accurate operational records as directed. ● Must participate fully as a member of the machine crew during downtime and start-up, product changes, operational problems, clean up, etc. ● Responsible for housekeeping lists in your assigned area. ● Must be able to work overtime and weekends. ● Perform any other miscellaneous duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. ● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to use hands to fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; to raise and lower objects without mechanical aids; to extend hands and arms in any direction to reach, push or pull objects; to bend at the knees and at the waist; and to talk or hear. ● The employee is frequently required to be able to stand for long periods of time, to walk, to have the ability to balance when assisting in the thread-up of the machine, to climb industrial ladders and use catwalks and stairs in the work area. ● The employee must have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., frequently lift and/or move 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. With assistance ● Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. ● Ability to wear and use required safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toe safety shoes, hearing protection and head protection. Under This Roof, We Require ● This position requires a high school diploma or GED, along with one year of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with solid manufacturing experience, consistent work history, demonstrated reliability, high mechanical aptitude, and/or leadership experience.
