This will be a year-round internship starting as soon as possible. The hours will be part-time during the school year and can go up to full-time during the summer. This intern will sit in our Cincinnati, OH headquarters and be working a hybrid schedule depending on availability. Responsibilities: Our intern program is responsible for developing the fundamental skills to support our Field Marketing Specialists and Risk Management team. The program includes a combination of activities, aimed at giving the intern a full understanding of the Specialty Human Services business. This position offers the opportunity to: Work closely with the divisional sales & marketing officer along with experienced marketing specialists to learn customer service skills and standards. Prepare routine/non-complex correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc., ensuring professional level editing. Maintain files, reports, and/or databases. Become familiar with department policies and procedures, as well as the business and organization. Assist with delivering key risk management resources, such as: Learning Management System Property & Auto Telematics Activities and rotational assignments may include: Job shadowing Administrative Duties Learn and perform functions related to the Field Marketing Specialist (technology and tools) Research supporting information for the Marketing Specialist via various systems. Assisting with tasks that support the marketing process. Adding valuable loss prevention training to the learning management system Helping to keep Risk Portal information up to date Assist with gaining key insights into current risk management resources used by nonprofit customers Competitor intelligence Requirements Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours in the office year-round A junior or senior working on bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 minimum GPA Proven leadership skills through extracurricular activities, internships/co-ops, or work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Products is required (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Teams); knowledge of Salesforce is a plus. Superior verbal/written communication and analytical skills and ability to multitask.
