Our client, a leading law firm based in NYC, is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join the team. This position is hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days WFH), and based at their beautiful Midtown, Manhattan office. Job Details

• Act as point-person for employee HR questions
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand and fulfill talent needs
• Utilize application-based recruiting tools and job boards to source talent
• Communicate with candidates and provide a positive, seamless hiring experience
• Conduct phone screens and manage logistics for further interviews
• Oversee onboarding process, including background checks
• Maintain HRIS
• Manage Timekeeping and PTO plans
• Assist with event coordination and other HR department projects

Salary $90-100k based on experience.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years’ Human Resources experience
• Must have recruiting experience
• Legal industry experience, highly preferred
• Deep knowledge of local and federal labor and hiring laws
• Tech savvy, dedicated to detail, and highly organized
• Confident working with all levels of employees and leadership
• Customer service oriented, with excellent sense of follow-through
