We are seeking a talented Automation Engineer II to join our team. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. This role operates in an agile development environment and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver iterative software solutions.

What does an Automation Engineer do?

Automated Test Script Development

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for various testing needs including Integration, Regression, and Performance testing.
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects identified during automated testing.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure product quality and address issues efficiently.
• Analyze and enhance existing test scripts to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Document and report test results to stakeholders.

Manual Testing and Quality Assurance

• Conduct manual testing as necessary to complement automated testing efforts.
• Recommend and implement improvement plans to enhance quality compliance.
• Prepare quality assurance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

What is required?

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in writing (from scratch) and maintaining test scripts using Selenium and C# for test automation.
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing required.
• Experience with Source Control Management, preferably Git.
• Proficiency in C#, SpecFlow, Gherkin, and Selenium required.
• Strong proficiency in using Selenium WebDriver for automated testing required.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman is preferred.

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Self-driven with a comprehensive understanding of Enterprise SDLC processes.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and extended hours as required.
