Summary

The Field Sales Representative serves as the business development and customer management function. The Field Sales Representative is a point of contact for all customers at the job site and in local & regional offices. This position will be accountable for delivering specific sales objectives that are consistent with the overall sales strategy.

Salary: $80,000.00 annually with 25% Sales Incentive Plan (SIP)

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The individual will always operate in a safe manner and follow all safety policies of the company. They will also maintain a safe driving record and take responsibility for ensuring the safety of all team members.
  • Achieving the sales goals set by the Regional Sales Manager, acquiring new customers for the company, meeting sales targets, maximizing gross margin through market pricing and value selling, and implementing sales strategies for Key Accounts.
  • Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with customers. Become the company’s expert for your customers by comprehending all aspects of the company’s business and the delivery of energy products to the field. Comprehend your customers’ business objectives and ascertain how the company can assist them in accomplishing their goals.
  • Provide a precise update to the sales leadership of the company and to the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool regarding sales forecasts. Create strategies to carry out specific sales activities in order to achieve the forecasted results. Use the sales methodology that the company has implemented in its operations. Adhere to internal sales procedures when developing pricing and contracts. Have a clear understanding of and comply with the delegation of authority.
  • Coordinate with Key Account Executives, Regional Sales Managers, Marketing team members and Senior Leadership to execute sales plans with customers.

Other Functions:

  • Special projects as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling value and/or solutions.
  • Knowledge of building successful account plans.
  • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; ability to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.
  • Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision.

Education:

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires working in an office setting, with long periods of time sitting.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, push and pull at least up to 10 lbs.
