Job Title: Senior Director, U.S. Consumer Finance

Job Description
The Senior Director, U.S. Consumer Finance co-owns (in partnership with the Consumer General Manager) the Consumer Business P&L and leads the business delivery, forecasting and control of the dynamic and growing Consumer business. Reporting to the U.S. Head of Finance and a member of both the U.S. Consumer Leadership Team and U.S. Finance Leadership Team, this role will partner closely with the Consumer Business leaders to drive financial rigor and ownership as well a key innovation and standardization within the finance organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Finance for the US consumer business:
  • Own the financial forecast and ensure leading and lagging indicator tracking to drive impactful corrective and amplifying actions ensure that business objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Serve as the business partner to the U.S. Vice President & General Manager for the Consumer Business, co-own the P&L and foster key internal relationships within Consumer and broader US Finance organization.
  • Bring deep industry knowledge to help ensure optimal resource allocation in bringing Galderma's pipeline assets to the market.
  • Use their Consumer Package Goods (CPG) background to help improve Gross to Net forecasting, processes, and controls for a robust pipeline of new innovation.
  • Provide guidance to the Commercial Teams through ad-hoc Finance & Sales analysis including net sales evolution for customer and channel.
  • Works closely with the FP&A Team to ensure business P&L forecasts are accurate, risks and opportunities pro-actively managed and communicated, and latest trends are properly quantified and identified during business reviews.
  • Oversees processes to perform analyses using substantial amounts of complex information from various internal and external sources.
  • As a thought leader for finance for the Consumer business globally, to inform senior leadership and external investors on the business performance, outlook and identify leading trends to help optimize the valuation of the prescription business globally.
  • As a member of the US Finance Leadership Team, help to develop talent, and set clear development goals and plans across team members and actively train and impart industry knowledge.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Master's degree in finance or accounting or an MBA and/or a Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or business-related field from four-year college and an MBA or MS/MA in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 15 years of industry experience (preference for Consumer Package Goods/CPG, or healthcare related experience) including three years in financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience as a hands-on team member, who keeps their eye on the big picture, but who enjoys as well delivering what needs to be done in a fast-paced transition environment
  • Experience in optimizing the use of shared service support, identifying key metrics and driving performance improvement through positive management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a manager, developing and leading people
  • Must have experience at in-depth financial analysis, problem resolution, and possess exceptionally strong analytical skills.
  • Must be proficient in workings with Oracle Cloud or similar large ERP system, forecasting tools such as Hyperion/BPC/PBCS/OneStream as well as MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Hyperion Planning (Essbase, SmartView, etc.) as well as data warehousing is a significant plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, required.
