Galerie is seeking a senior level Ecommerce Manager to join our fun business! This position will address the most critical, strategic and personnel choices from an innovative and development perspective within Galerie® and the eCommerce team. Responsibilities will include working with Director of Marketing, President, Finance and Operations teams to formulate strategy to drive eCommerce exposure and sales. The Sr. Manager will ensure our online store and company presence is optimized for a seamless experience for both B2C and B2B customers.

Scope of Responsibilities

• eCommerce Focus – Strive to continually uncover and identify significant marketplace and consumer trends thereby establishing Galerie® as a competitor in the online wholesale seasonal gifting market.
• Item Data/ Inventory – Provide leadership on the development and expansion of our product information management (PIM) platform and working closely with IT on automation of inventory tracking and control through main company ERP system (Visual Management). Inventory accuracy must be managed in order to maintain product availability to meet customer demand via all online platforms.
• Expansion of Marketplace – Deliver recommendations and expansion within the Marketplace to further build online reach within current platforms (Amazon, Wal-Mart, Faire, etc.,) and grow new opportunities. Implementation of approved approach to ensure continued growth.
• Merchandizing & Site Management – Highlight and promote key seasonal items within the online marketplace to drive consumer awareness and build purchase intent. Utilize other departments (e.g. Marketing, Design / Visual Media, etc.,) to boost engagement with Galerie® products.
• Management & Leadership – Lead cross-functional team – particularly around inter-departmental communication with Product Development, Sales, Design, Finance and Marketing.

Candidate Profile

Experience Base

· eCommerce Experience – In both B2B and B2C markets, the Sr. Manager will have a high level understanding of building and expanding eCommerce platforms and consumer engagement.

· Analytics & Data – The Sr. Manager must understand data analytics, dashboard analysis and deep knowledge base of software systems that provide consumer behavior insights (e.g. Google Analytics, etc.,).

· SEO & ADA Optimization – The Sr. Manager must have background in online software and platforms that optimizes the Galerie site for discovery and conforms to ADA requirements.

· Team Development– Demonstrated success building a highly organized and trained team of product developers. Proven experience managing, developing, motivating and promoting direct reports, and instilling an innovative-centric culture. This extending to external relationships including, but not limited to suppliers and vendors both domestic and international.
