Join our dynamic team in Modesto as an Industrial Painter Blaster, where your expertise will bring the interior and exterior of large wine storage tanks to life. This role is perfect for those who take pride in their craftsmanship, enjoy working with their hands, and appreciate the art of transforming structures through paint and epoxy coatings.

Your day-to-day will involve scaffold construction and maintenance, preparing structures for paint or foam applications, mixing and setting up specialized epoxy coatings, and the application of these coatings through spraying paint and sandblasting. Additionally, you'll engage in the preparation and painting of miscellaneous equipment and structures throughout the winery.

Being a team player and having the ability to follow company safety procedures, quality, and GMP standards are essential. Your role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of our facilities, and your contributions will directly impact the quality of our environment and products.

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate

• 2 years of painting/coating experience in an industrial setting performing work described in essential functions.

• Required to work any shift.

• 21 years of age or older.

• Required to work aloft and on platforms.

• Required to lift and move up to 100 lbs.

• Required to pass respirator qualification process.

• Required to pass respirator qualification process.

What will set you apart:

• Experience with multiple component coating and sandblast.

• Drive/Operate industrial equipment (forklifts, tractor, wave, etc)

• Will be required to be blood borne pathogen trained.

• Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting work instructions, chemical guidelines, MSDS sheets.

• Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

• Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from team and other departmental managers and representatives.

• Demonstrates team building, leadership and mentoring skills.

• Trained in tank entry permits (confined space training).

• Knowledge of general paint preparation.

• Self motivated, shows initiative, and demonstrates the skill in multi tasking.

• Works well under pressure, manages priorities efficiently.

• Good communication, presentation and writing skills.

Compensation:

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: set rate listed as $38.18- $38.18

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
