Galowitz • Olson is Hiring a Paralegal Near Lake, MN

The firm of Galowitz Olson is seeking a full-time paralegal to assist its general law practice, particularly in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, and guardianship and conservatorship. This is a rare opportunity to work for a small, local law firm that values its employees and clients greatly. Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients on a regular basis;
  • File and serve pleadings;
  • Prepare client documents;
  • Calendar court hearings for attorney and provide court notices to clients;
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and hearings;
  • Provide front desk support when needed;
  • Scan and organize estate planning documents;
  • Organize and file original estate planning documents;
  • Submit real estate documents for recording;
  • Provide paralegal support on miscellaneous projects under the supervision and support of the attorney.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years prior law firm experience
  • Experience with MN Odyssey E-File
  • Competence in Microsoft 360 and Outlook applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in the areas of probate, estate planning, trust administration, and guardianship and conservatorship
  • Past client-facing experience
  • Experience with MN Odyssey E-File
  • Experience with WI E-Filing
  • Experience with e-recording for real estate
  • Experience in Case Management Systems (ex., Tabs)
